Why it's dangerous

Chemical

Chemical analysis of the sample in question detected a level of 0.026 g/100 g (equivalent to 263 μg/g) of bimatoprost methyl amide (Methylamido-Dihydro-Noralfaprostal, MDN). In particular, there are significant uncertainties and risks related to reproductive/developmental toxicity, as well as local adverse effects on the eyes and on the skin around the eyes. PGAs can be systemically effective at very low concentrations.
