ROMADA charger stopped at the EU border over electric-shock risk
EU authorities stopped the import of this product (ROMADA charger) after it was found to pose an electric-shock risk. Here is how to tell if you have it, and what to do next.

Why it's dangerous
Electric shock
The earthing conductor is shorter than the current-carrying conductors. If the supply cord slips out of its anchorage, the earthing connection could therefore disconnect first, while the live conductors remain connected. This could leave accessible metal parts unearthed and potentially live, increasing the risk of electric shock.
The product does not comply with the requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive.
