Why it's dangerous
BurnsElectric shock
The product lacks adequate insulation. The product may overheat causing the insulating material to melt, leaving live parts accessible. The user can therefore easily access live parts and receive an electric shock. Additionally, the base of the product lacks an automatic shut-off mechanism. The product could therefore overheat, causing burns to the user.
The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60335-1 and 60335-2.
