Why it's dangerous
The plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of cadmium and bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured values up to 0.018% and 21% by weight, respectively). Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer. This phthalate may harm the health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system and may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system.
