Decorative lighting banned from sale over electric-shock risk

Why it's dangerous
Electric shock
The product lacks sufficient insulation. The electronic rectifier unit box lacks a mechanical wire strain relief device. Additionally, the mains plug does not comply with the dimensional requirements, leaving live parts easily accessible to the user, who could receive an electric shock.
The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-20.
