Why it's dangerous
The product has an excessive concentration of formaldehyde (measured value up to 20.4 mg/kg). Formaldehyde is a skin sensitiser and can trigger allergic reactions and may cause cancer. Additionally, the product has an excessive concentration of benzisothiazolinone (measured value up to 10 mg/kg). Benzisothiazolinone causes skin irritation and may cause an allergic skin reaction. Moreover, the product has an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 5.14 mg/kg by weight). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may affect breast-fed or unborn children.
