Why it's dangerous
The product has an excessive concentration of formaldehyde (measured value up to 21.7 mg/kg). Formaldehyde is a skin sensitiser and can trigger allergic reactions and may cause cancer. Additionally, the product has an excessive concentration of benzisothiazolinone (measured value up to 140 mg/kg). Benzisothiazolinone causes skin irritation and may cause an allergic skin reaction. The product also has an excessive concentration of the colouring agent CI 73915. Moreover, the presence of these chemicals is not indicated in the list of ingredients.
