Why it's dangerous
In the outer fabric areas of the product, the detected concentrations of C9–C14 PFCA related compounds are exceeding the limit values. These compounds are extremely persistent, environmentally mobile and may accumulate in the environment. The release of these compounds from articles contributes cumulatively to long term and irreversible environmental contamination, leading to a serious environmental risk.
