Atom badminton set stopped at the EU border over chemical risk

Why it's dangerous
Chemical
The plastic material of the transparent plastic window of the carrying bag and the black grip of the rackets contain an excessive amount of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured values up to 25% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health by causing possible damage to reproductive system.
The product does not comply with the REACH regulation.
