Why it's dangerous

Chemical

The material of which the balloons are made releases an excessive amount of nitrosatable substances and nitrosamines (measured values: 5.6 mg/kg and 0.1 mg/kg, respectively). Nitrosamines can cause cancer if swallowed or through skin contact. A child could be exposed to them if they touch the product or put it in their mouth.
