Why it's dangerous
Electric shock
The mains cable can be connected to the pump in reverse, allowing the live pin to connect to the earth pin causing live parts to become accessible. The user could touch these accessible live parts and receive an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
