Why it's dangerous
The screw that secures the battery compartment is not captive. If the screw is lost when the batteries are being changed, the cover of the battery compartment could be removed easily. If a child puts them in the mouth, the batteries can overheat and release electrolyte which can be ingested by the child and cause damage to the gastrointestinal tract. Moreover, the magnets are small parts. A child can put them in the mouth and choke.
